Home - Based

​Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain policies to ensure the company’s data governance framework is developed and maintained, with clear roles and responsibilities defined.

• Act as Data Steward for all business data, while working with business Data Owners to improve access to reliable data.

• Meet and maintain regulatory data standards, ensuring adherence to these within the team and across the business.

• Develop, implement and maintain the company’s data strategy.

• Define and quantify data risk, and implement risk mitigation strategies around data.

• Evaluate the potential risks and economic impacts of compromised data.

• Chair data councils, committees and forums.

• Monitor, manage and recommend changes to improve and maintain data quality, developing key metrics to assess effectiveness.

• Support key strategic projects and initiatives across the business, using data as an enabler for success

Previous experience and qualifications:

• Experience in implementing and maintaining data governance frameworks.

• Educated to a degree level in a STEM subject or relevant data experience.

• High levels of professionalism and focus on proactive stakeholder management.

• Experience in designing performance indicators and metrics.

• Previous leadership and performance management experience.

• Some working experience with data manipulation tools e.g. SAS, SQL

• Ability to write clear documentation for analytical and data outputs.

• Ability to work dynamically within a fast-paced environment.

• Possess the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a team setting.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
