Deliver accurate, consistent and meaningful business data and analysis that enables data-driven decisions.

Remote working options available.

Key responsibilities include:

• Produce high quality data outputs within agreed timelines for senior management and other business areas.

• Support the tracking of key performance indicators to report to business stakeholders.

• Assist the Data Business Partners and Senior Data Analysts in providing robust solutions to business data requests.

• Help solve important business questions and help answer these with data.

• Assist in maintaining the reporting landscape and identifying improvements to reduce volume of existing reports.

• Ensure that requested data is available for reporting, modelling and forecasting purposes.

• Proactively discover, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in our data from multiple sources and deliver relevant insights to the business.

• Quality check the available data and work with data owners/stewards to improve data quality.

• Embed a data-driven culture across all areas of the business, helping business users reap the benefits of using data to make decisions.

• Support key strategic projects and initiatives across the business, using data as an enabler for success.

• Support the Data Analyst community across the business, by embedding values and behaviours that enable effective data analytics.

Previous experience and qualifications:

• Educated to a degree level in a STEM subject or relevant data experience.

• 1-2 years SAS (either in EG, Studio or Base SAS) or SQL coding experience.

• Some experience with visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and statistical techniques

• Knowledge of designing performance indicators and metrics

• Ability to write clear documentation for analytical and data outputs, with great attention to detail

• Capable of eliciting requirements from business stakeholders and translating these to meaningful output

• Ability to work dynamically within a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a team setting.

• Diagnose and resolve problems in a timely fashion.

• High levels of professionalism and focus on proactive stakeholder management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
