Vacancy Location Bournemouth ( Hybrid )

Shift Pattern Monday – Friday 8am – 7pm 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am – 1pm

Hours – 40Hours per week

We’re looking for kind caring empathetic people with high resilience to work as part of my clients Member care team. You will be taking calls from members who need support, they may be going through a difficult time in their lives and need to speak about their medical insurance. This is a fast paced role, but every call needs to be treated with care and sensitivity. No silly AHT KPI’s on this team!

Overall Job Purpose

Our customers in Member Care count on us to be there when they need our support. When contacting us via the telephone they are often poorly and so may be going through a challenging and emotional time in their lives and need to speak to us about their private medical insurance cover. We hold their hand from when they first call us to talk about their illness all the way though to a diagnosis and treatment plan. This is a fast-paced environment where every customer counts.

Who we’re looking for

Our customers count on us to get things 100% right, at a time when they’re in need. We’re looking for people who can always work with a sense of urgency whilst still showing the absolute care and compassion that our customers deserve. You’ll have great listening skills with the ability to understand the needs and feelings of our customers. You’ll also need to have good computer literacy skills and be able to confidently navigate your way around a laptop or desktop with multiple systems. You’ll be totally reliable and focused, bringing the best version of yourself to work every day and you’ll have the drive to work hard even on the toughest days.

Skills Required

Essential

• A Passion for customer service

• A natural carer with the ability to actively listen and question around our customers’ needs, finding solutions for our customers in a timely manner

• Ability to use multiple systems whilst building rapport and supporting our customers

• Someone who enjoys having something to work towards through our monthly performance measures

• Self-motivation and the drive to work hard even on challenging days

• The ability to embrace change positively

• Ownership of tasks including resolution of any issues that might arise

Desirable

Experience of working in a Customer Services role is desirable but if you have the natural traits we need then we can help you develop that experience through training and coaching.
