Customer Service Advisor

This is a telephone based Customer Service job that would suit somebody who has had done a previous customer service, retail or hospitality job that can show a great level of empathy with the customer. The role will be suited to candidates who are passionate about providing an exceptional service to the customer.

Duties & Responsibilities (these include and are not limited to):

  • Taking inbound calls from customers and dealing with their queries with the greatest of empathy
  • Logging information accurately on the in-house system
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Achieving SLA’s and following correct DPA policies
  • Listening to customers and dealing with their queries efficiently and professionally
  • Identifying any vulnerable customers and dealing with them empathetically
  • Dealing with customers politely, respectfully and with patience

Skills you’ll need:

  • Good empathy skills
  • Fantastic work ethics and a brilliant attitude
  • Be able to listen – even if the issue is hard to listen to
  • Love talking to people and have a knack for understanding their needs
  • Enjoy being part of a team but still have the drive to work on your own initiative
  • Good customer service experience

Salary:                  £20,952 p.a (Paid on an hourly rate of 9.90ph + 10% shift allowance)

Hours:                  37 hours per week between 7am and 10pm (1 in 4 weekends) (occasionally working until midnight)

Training:              4 weeks classroom training + 1 week side by side
