 Credit Risk Manager - Collections - Strategy - Manchester - Hybrid working

 The role

 

 This Financial Services Business has around 2 million customers and has an exciting roadmap of investment to create an entirely new platform for their credit business. This will unlock opportunities to bring forward new customer propositions and grow the business.  

 As a Credit Risk - Collections Strategy Manager, you'll be part of this journey.

 

What will you do as Collections Strategy Manager?

 

Design and deploy collection strategies within a champion / challenger framework

Building effective processes for operational teams to utilise in execution of these

Design and produce MI &  insight to monitor portfolio & strategy performance

Ensure Collections strategies deliver Good Customer Outcomes

Ensure latest regulatory guidance and rulesets are reflected in the collections and recoveries strategies deployed

Support External Debt Sales changes as needed

Collections SME as part of transitioning to a new system platform

Managing & coaching junior analysts

Deputising for senior manager

 

What skills and experience will you have?

 

Proven track record in effective management of Champion/Challenger strategies within Collections & Recoveries

Advanced understanding of collection strategies and forbearance tools

Highly competent in the use of analytical tools, including SQL

A logical approach and excellent attention to detail

Organised and able to prioritise workloads and of junior members

 

Desirable: Experience in presenting to Executive Colleagues

Desirable: experience of configuring modern collections or decision platform

Desirable: knowledge of IFRS9
