MERJE are currently partnering with a leading FS consultancy who are looking for a Consultant (CASS) to join their growing team.

·         Provide high quality advice and support to clients on a range of regulatory compliance matters.

·         Providing CASS input into FCA authorisation or variation of permission projects

·         Conducting CASS regulatory reviews and outsourced internal audits

·         Delivering training sessions and workshops for CASS staff and senior management

·         Drafting policies and procedures

·         Working with firms to build compliant record check and reconciliation processes

·         Responding to ad-hoc and routine regulatory queries

·         Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients. This may include:

·         responding to queries, managing client expectations and delegating work, where necessary

·         Keep abreast of the regulatory landscape and maintain regulatory knowledge.

Key Requirements:

• Educated to degree level

• Significant compliance-related experience gained at a financial institution, consultancy and/or the FCA

• Knowledge and experience of the FCA rules

• Proven track record of exceeding financial goals and sales targets; consulting experience would be advantageous

• Experience translating regulatory rules and guidance into meaningful, fit-for-purpose and pragmatic solutions for clients

• Experience managing client relationships
