Great opportunity for a Compliance Officer to join a Fintech start-up which aims to disrupt the credit card market across the UK. My client is looking for an ambitious, motivated Compliance officer to work in close collaboration with two co – founders to drive a good compliance culture.

Your responsibilities will include:

·         Reviewing and maintaining policies and procedures to remain compliant with evolving regulation

·         Handling reporting obligations to the FCA

·         Preparing annual CASS audit and liaising with our auditors during the process

·         Organising regular training sessions for employees to communicate key regulatory changes and updates

·         Answering any queries received from the FCA

·         Plans in place to build out regulatory scope and apply for authorisation as a consumer lender, you will play a central role in the whole process (drafting new policies and procedures, liaising with our external advisors, discussing with the FCA)

Capabilities/qualities

·         3+ years of experience in a compliance role

·         Some experience working in consumer credit or a related sector

Additionally, if you tick any of the following boxes, this will be a definite plus:

·         Experience with Gabriel/RegData reporting

·         Familiarity with the FCA’s rules and regulations for peer-to-peer lending

·         Familiarity with the FCA’s client-money (CASS) rules and regulations
