MERJE has partnered with one of the largest automotive manufacturers in the world and we’re looking for a Compliance Monitoring Officer to join their exciting team. The primary purpose of the role is to manage regulatory and compliance risks around the car finance options they offer by:
- Completing compliance monitoring plan reviews
- Supporting the Compliance Officers with identification, mitigation, remediation and reporting of compliance risks
- Supporting the Compliance Officers to provide subject matter expert advice and guidance to the business on all matters relating to regulatory and compliance risk
Role Highlights:
- Plan & Oversee: Lead the design and execution of Compliance Monitoring Plans to ensure regulatory adherence
- Risk Management: Develop and maintain a risk assessment matrix to navigate regulatory risks
- Review & Report: Conduct compliance monitoring reviews, analyse findings, and develop risk mitigation plans
- Engagement: Provide expert guidance to business management on regulatory and compliance risks
- Track & Support: Maintain a register of findings, manage the Compliance Policy inbox, and assist in compliance education programmes
- Reporting: Collaborate with the Compliance Team to provide accurate risk reporting
Requirements:
- Proven experience in compliance monitoring
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of FCA rules and regulations
- Preferably bringing experience from consumer credit regulatory knowledge or Retail Banking background
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation abilities
- Collaborative and adaptable mindset
