Working for this highly rated insurance underwriting agency, you will be the central compliance SME for all matters within the firm. Implementing group policy into the local environment in a compliance generalist role.
Role requirements:
• Implement and embed Group policy into the business including creating, maintaining and monitoring company specific procedure where required.
• Produce data and complete reports including internal management reports, FCA reports, Group reports.
• Handle complaints including record keeping, insurer liaison, writing letters, root cause analysis and reporting.
• Handle breaches including record keeping, root cause analysis and reporting.
• Review and update the risk register in accordance with the company’s senior management.
• Review new insurer TOBAs and maintain insurer TOBA register
• Maintain the company’s compliance registers
• Act as internal referral point for compliance queries.
Person specification:
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a compliance role within UK general insurance, preferably with an MGA or broker
• Cert CII or above is desired
• Excellent organisational skills
• Disciplined with deadlines
• Clear & effective communication
• Good attention to detail
• Able to build strong relationships and work constructively and collaboratively with colleagues
