​Our client is a successful consumer credit business that are recruiting an ambitious compliance professional. The business is undergoing strong growth and in line with this is are looking for a candidate that can quickly establish themselves and build effective relationships across all levels of the business. This role incorporates a diverse and rewarding workload within a culture that encourages internal career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as a point of contact to and partner with the groups internal, customer-facing teams to answer initial Compliance queries.

- Be responsible for the design, implementation and delivery of all regulatory and compliance training in the business.

- Develop and enhance the current suite of regulatory reports, metrics and tracking, in order to ensure they can evidence compliance with the relevant regulatory frameworks across the business and to provide confidence to all stakeholders in the business’ compliance performance and risk profile.

- Undertake relevant training as required and be pro-active in keeping up with changes in legislation (and take the lead in arranging relevant training for the Compliance team), which the business will support.

- Review, maintain, update and design any regulatory and compliance policies, working with the Head of Compliance.

- Advise on Financial Promotions and work with the business’ marketing and commercial teams to help them understand the requirements and, where necessary, sign off customer / marketing comms.

The ideal candidate will be able to seize the opportunity to establish themselves with confidence and grow with the business. You will have experience working in a compliance position for at least 1 year under an FCA regulated environment. Expertise in CONC and understanding of various regulatory standards such as GDPR, DPR and SMCR as well as experience designing and implementing an FCA compliant monitoring plan.
