Our Client is a leading Financial Technology company that has grown into the number one provider of services within their industry in the UK. The business is recruiting an experienced Compliance Manager to ensure that the company is compliant with board approved policies and risk appetite, as well as the guidance provided from the FCA.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Undertake monthly reporting in line with board agreed policies and governance framework

-          Review the Risk and Issues log and in conjunction with the CRO and the Risk Officer identify any systemic issues and ensure any solutions are effective

-          Support the MLRO in undertaking the regular FCA reporting

-          Provide operational support to the Operations team in dealing with queries on particular customers, PEPs, beneficiaries

-          Review the Risk and Controls framework in conjunction with the CRO to ensure it remains fit for purpose

The Ideal Candidate:

-          Experience of working in financial services / fintech / banking

-          Experience of reviewing operational risks and controls

-          Ability to identify potential control risks across all group activities
