MERJE is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Business Partner to join a leading insurance group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide senior compliance support, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and act as a trusted advisor within the organisation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering good customer outcomes.

The Role

Key Responsibilities of the Compliance Business Partner:

  • Provide compliance support and advice to business areas as the initial point of contact

  • Review and monitor Delegated Authority Agreements

  • Maintain and update company compliance policies and procedures

  • Develop and deliver compliance training for staff

  • Support acquisition and integration activities, including due diligence

Required knowledge and experience for the Compliance Business Partner role:

  • Solid understanding of FCA compliance, ICOBS, and SMCR regulations

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Experience in insurance broking or operational roles within an insurance brokerage

  • Knowledge of Lloyd's processes and requirements

  • Industry accreditation (e.g., CII/ICA) is advantageous
