The purpose of this role is to deliver assurance to the SLT and Board around whether compliance risks are adequately

managed across the business and ensure policies and processes are adopted by the business to comply with legal and

regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carry out monitoring and assurance activities for Endsleigh to ensure key Compliance risks are accurately assessed and reported upon
  • Working closely with the Head of Risk & Compliance and the CEO, help establish and maintain the compliance framework and help determine the annual compliance monitoring plan
  • Monitor to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions
  • Clearly communicate findings and specific recommendations both face to face and in formal reports to stakeholders at all levels
  • Continuously assess and provide assurance on the regulatory risk and monitor and analyse any further risks to the business
  • Drive the compliance and conduct risk agenda

The Person

  • Experience of having worked in a compliance role – preferably within Assurance / Monitoring
  • Experience of working in the Insurance industry would be beneficial
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good knowledge of the FCA handbook
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
