As part of the Compliance & Risk team the Compliance practitioner will have responsibility for supporting the business on compliance initiatives and operating the firm's compliance platform, policies, and procedures, as well as advising the business on compliance matters with support from the Compliance Manager and other members of the compliance team.

The role will involve taking responsibility for the following:

Make a substantial contribution to ensuring that the regulatory objectives of the Company are met.

Assist in the development of the compliance culture of the organisation.

Assist in the development and maintenance of the organisation's Compliance Policy Manual and supporting policies and procedures.

Assist in implementing the annual compliance monitoring programme undertaking specific assignments and thematic reviews.

Maintain registers for compliance including breaches, PA dealing, gifts, conflicts of interests etc.

Identify the implications of regulation and legislation for the business.

Key Requirements:

Knowledge and experience of relevant rules and regulations.

An awareness of the regulators' requirements and preferences based on an understanding of PRA and FCA rules

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
