 Completions Officer 

Wilmslow or Manchester

Monday - Friday 8am-4pm


 Are you ready to take your career in mortgage services to the next level? Our client, a renowned financial institution, is looking for a skilled and motivated Completions Officer to join our dynamic team.

Our client is dedicated to backing individuals and businesses, enabling them to go for it in both life and business. As a Completions Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in our mortgage application process, ensuring a seamless journey from offer to completion.


  • Process Certificates of Titles (COTs) to ensure compliance with loan offer conditions and accurate details for completion.

  • Manage and control the release of completion funds, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Review Residential, Standard, and Specialist Buy-to-Let mortgage applications up to £1,000,000.

  • Respond to legal correspondence from solicitors, liaising with underwriters, credit risk, and third-party partners.

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders.

  • Conduct assessments using Credit Searches, Land Registry information, and Fraud avoidance tools.

  • Provide timely updates to customers, brokers, and solicitors on application progress.

  • Administer necessary mortgage documents and ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Proactively identify potential scheme abuse and fraudulent activity.

  • Provide training and support for team colleagues' development.

  • Adhere to audit requirements and achieve competency in team tasks.
