Job Description:

Our Client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Credit Risk Manager – Arrears Management Strategy to manage the development, delivery and optimisation of arrears management strategies, that meets business objectives for supporting customers and maintaining compliance with regulations and policies.

Role responsibilities:

•Managing and delivering effective arrears management strategies that optimise commercial performance and support the delivery of the overall Credit Risk strategy

•Managing and developing the performance and potential of the team

•Ensuring, managing and monitoring team adherence to all governance, risk and compliance standards, ensuring strategies deliver the best outcomes for customers and the business

•Identifying and developing strategic relationships internally and externally that add value to the business in the short, medium and long term

About you:

•Experience of working within the retail, financial services sector

•Experience of leading and managing credit risk strategy development

•Extensive experience of working and delivering in a regulated environment

•Excellent working knowledge of financial standards and guidelines – e.g. FCA, TCF, Data Protection

•Is delivery and customer focussed

•Experience of managing and developing the performance of others, either through couching or direct reporting management.

•Ability to plan and prioritise effectively to meet changing priorities and demands

•Ability to interpret data and information to highlight opportunities and minimise risk

•Experience of risk management

•Excellent communication and engagement skills

•Proven track record in effective facilitation and communication at multiple levels

•Is commercially astute

•Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at an appropriate level

•Experience of analytic software, such as SQL or SAS.

•Is analytical, pragmatic, and systematic in approach to problem solving and maximising opportunities

•Ability to manage conflict and knows when to escalate
