​Job Description:

My client is looking for a Collections and Recoveries Manager to manage the effective collection of default residential mortgage accounts through the development and implementation of optimal collection and work out strategies.

• Manager a small team of agents.

• Ensure that key mortgage arrears life cycle events are effectively monitored and managed

• Develop and maintain effective, compliant borrower contact strategies

• Ensure that collections policies and procedures are up to date and reflective of current practice

• Be accountable for the performance of teams and all employees managed, ensuring that all line management activities are undertaken as required

• Line manage and coach all direct reports, including all aspects of performance management, development, conduct, sickness management, appraisals, employee administration and recruitment.

• Take ownership and deliver effective results from the team based in India through effective oversight

• Develop, govern and monitor effective relationships with key third party suppliers

• Ensure account information is up to date and reflects the current status of the interaction with the borrowers

• Spearhead the delivery of detailed monthly MI summarising performance

Skills & Experience

• Experience in collection background within Financial Services

• 3 years’ experience in managing outcome focussed work-out strategies is essential

• 3 years previous Line Management experience is essential
