Company: A new organisation has been formed to run and manage a number of well-known and recognised Insurance Consulting firms under the one Group, whilst allowing the strong reputations of the existing brands to continue their success within their fields of expertise.
Job Description: This is a new role - created to drive and deliver on the Group’s strategic and operational objectives. Focus will be on integrating 4 brands / businesses reporting into this role. Exciting opportunity to shape the Group in operational design and strategic growth - to drive financial, reputational success and reward.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement the agreed strategy and business operating plan for the Group
- Deliver the new business P&L budget
- Manage key stakeholders and shareholders to direct the Group to meet the expected outcomes
- Direct the functional design of the business to create operational efficiency, improving [KB1] structures and ensuring robust processes are in place - driving a quality focus and consistency within the Group
- Oversee job design, reviews, succession planning and remuneration to maintain a top class people culture
- Drive new business through existing and new client relationships
- Lead all M&A activity, working alongside the senior executives to agreed goals
- Working as one of the few top senior roles in the Group, effectively support the Group Chairman and highly experienced shareholders in the plans and implementation of the wider strategy
- Represent the Group as required with other key stakeholders and external parties
The Person
- Technical Compliance knowledge and experience to understand the core SME of the Consulting activity
- Insurance industry experience
- Clear, direct communication skills – able to demonstrate gravitace to work at Exec level and to gain credibility with external clients
- Experience of working in a consulting environment
- Evidence of business operational experience in managing efficient processes, financial management and strategy / forward planning
- Proactive team player
- Ability to work independently to achieve agreed goals
- Degree or at least 5 years’ experience in a senior management capacity
