Financial Services business, located in Liverpool, are looking to appoint a CASS Governance & Support Manager to join a newly established Oversight & Controls team.  The role holder will undertake oversight and governance ensuring compliance with the FCA Client Money and Client Asset rules.

Key responsibilities include:

• To act as the CASS SME.
• Provide CASS guidance and technical support to the functional business units who have exposure to CASS risk
• To input to and support the development and maintenance of a robust Risk & Controls Framework for CASS Governance, together with Operational Resiliency to ensure appropriate levels of oversight.
• Manage and report CASS related risks, issues and breaches.
• To support the oversight of the daily client money calculations and carry out periodic integrity checks.
• To develop, implement and maintain CASS-related policies and procedures.  To take the lead in the compilation of the CASS resolution pack.
• To support liaison between the firm and the regulator on CASS-related matters.
• To provide report(s) to senior management to ensure that they are fully appraised of all CASS related issues and any matters that may subsequently arise.
