Job Description

My client is looking for a BDM to be responsible for achieving agreed business revenue targets to support the strategic goals and objectives. This will be achieved by selling propositions and services by recruiting new advisory firms.

Responsibilities:

As a minimum, meet annual revenue targets as confirmed by the business.

Complete a minimum of calls, as agreed, per week to potential new contacts to discuss and agree appointments.

Create and deliver content to support co-ordinated marketing campaigns to achieve lead generation for new revenue opportunities.

Identify opportunities from internal and external data sources to drive through new lead and business opportunities.

Create and produce accurate MI reporting, identifying trends and outcomes to support with insight to business propositions, services and solutions.

Proactively manage the onboarding of new firms, through to hand off to relevant CRA for ongoing maintenance of relationships.

Collaborate closely with all areas to delivery, ensuring you meet and exceed aligned client targets/ market share and service expectations.

Take ownership for the collation of competitor activity, analysis and wider market intelligence.

Skills & Experience

      Excellent content creation and campaign skills to promote services to generate leads.

Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our products and services and understand how they can support and help deliver value to meet the firms needs and objectives.

Excellent time management, planning and influencing skills.

Territory management and business planning.

Proven track record of recruitment success and taking contract discussions through to conclusion.

Ability to work both independently / remotely and in as part of a team.

An understanding of financial services industry and legislative changes.

Wealth planning (investment, pension, tax planning) and advice knowledge, including related technology.
