Business Development Manager
Monday - Friday
Fulltime, In-Office Role - flexibility for travel is a must due to the nature of the role.
£40,000 DOE plus benefits and amazing bonus opportunities (OTE £65,000)

Due to business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the UK's leader in furniture rental, providing the events industry with the most stylish and high-end quality design offering.


Business Development Role:

You will influence and work to identify and maximise sale opportunities to increase the profitability of business.


Business Development Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, and new partnerships.

  • Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.

  • Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs, and developing proposals to address these needs.

  • Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients.

  • Maximise sales opportunities.

  • Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients.

  • Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.

  • Possessing a strong understanding of the company ' s products, the competition in the industry and positioning

Essential:

  • Be commercially aware and able to deliver profitable proposals that meet internal guidelines.

  • Understand how to drive cost of revenue and margins to achieve sales targets.

  • Have a proven track record of commercial success in sales or similar roles.

  • Be organised and self-aware, consistently following up on leads and planning.

  • Strong IT skills.

  • Hunter mentality - someone who gets excited by winning new business.

  • Ability to cultivate relationships / to network / to account manage / open doors.

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

  • Drive and commitment to exceeding targets.

  • Research and understand the market and our competition.

  • Knowledge of the events industry is desirable but not essential.
