​My client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team to manage existing client relationships and source, develop and build new business for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Reporting to and working together with the Board, the Business Development Manager will be required to lead the day to day sales function of the business.

• Develop a sales plan and strategy identifying key prospects, relevant points of contact within those prospects in an effort to grow business and help the company expand.

• Manage and develop further existing client relationships and support client deliverables with effective internal stakeholder engagement.

• Reviewing and negotiation of commercial agreements. This may include sales and partner contracts, non-disclosure agreements, statements of work, product and service descriptions.

• Assisting in the delivery and production of tender responses and contracts for clients and prospects.

• Collating documentation packs by liaising with internal stakeholders and meeting required deadlines.

• Monitoring and recording in-coming sales enquiries and maintain and update sales lead/prospects database (CRM).

Required skills/Experience

• 3 years + Financial Services or related Business Development experience

• Experience selling professional services to UK businesses.

• Strong general administrative, project management and PC literacy skills including MS Office products, Teams and Zoom.

• Excellent communication and commercial writing skills plus a high attention to detail.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work at all levels particularly with senior stakeholders.

• Knowledge of Collections & Recoveries Industry would be advantageous.

• 3 - 4 years' business development experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
