Job DescriptionMy client is looking for Business Systems Analyst to meet with internal business users, analyse the business processes, and evaluate their system needs to effectively perform their job functions. They will identify efficiencies in the process with the intention of bridging the gap between what the available software can do and the business need. This individual will interact with the IT team and ensure that a full end to end solution can be provided from both a software perspective to measurable reporting.
•Maintains enterprise-level information systems, applications, and configurations.
•Contribute towards systems design and build for efficient operational processes by working closely with the developers
•To contribute towards continual process analysis; review of existing software components; upgrades and re-engineering processes to drive efficiency.
•Interfaces closely with the wider business users to understand business process flows and to seek improvement from the utilization of application software.
•Operates as a liaison between IT and internal users and has both business and technical expertise.
•Provide evaluation of client requirements and projects for technical suitability and continued liaison during the project lifecycle
•As part of a project team deliver agreed tasks to cost, quality and time.
•To transform business/user requirements into a recognised clearly defined technical specification for IT Development using internal or external resources.
•To provide realistic estimates for the necessary time (as well as other relevant decision factors) for robust implementation of technical solutions.
•Taking part in formal IT projects.
•Work closely with Testing team to ensure change is performed successfully in order to minimise impact to the business.
•Assist and execute when required, system unit testing, integration testing, regression testing and performance testing for change implementation.
Skills & Experience
•Solid understanding of Order to Cash and Supply Chain Business Processes
•Previous experience of data migration and integration projects.
•Proven Analytical Skills with demonstrable problem-solving experience in a complex application estate
•Capable of using Visio or other packages to model business/system processes
•Excellent knowledge of Excel
•Ability to work effectively with 3rd party partners
•Demonstrate Personal Effectiveness and Stakeholder Management
•Pro-actively self manages with a focus on quality of delivery
•Clear Communicator to all levels of business
