Job Description

My client is looking for a Business Analyst to work and support Business Change across all areas of the Branch.

 

Responsibilities

  •  Liaising with stakeholders at all levels to understand and document business processes, workflow and requirements.

  •  Conducting analysis of the structure of a business, how it uses technology, processes and the resources required to support its goals

  • Identifying core issues and problems within the business, and presenting potential solutions to these issues

  • Undertaking the production of business cases and feasibility studies

  • Writing and translating business requirements in a format that can be understood at all levels of a project by all stakeholders

  • Driving solution development and overseeing the implementation of new technology and systems.

  • Running workshops and training sessions

  • Completing Risk Assessments of new initiatives

  • Identifying relevant KPIs and reporting to management

  • Ability to communicate with executive management and senior people in the Bank and Support Areas

Skills and Experience

  • Experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services industry or similar with a good understanding of project management disciplines.

  • Ideally qualified in an industry recognised project management discipline or accreditation e.g. Prince 2, Agile or similar or can demonstrate experience in delivering / working in projects using a structured approach.

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills required.

  • Experience of interpreting business requests and translating them to requirements.

  • Demonstrable evidence of gathering, analysing and documenting business processes.

  • Ability to present to an audience.

  • Ability to convey information concisely, questioning others to check understanding.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to identify and analyse alternative approaches to dealing with issues and problems.

  • Ideally Portuguese speaker
