My client is an award winning consultancy who provides compliance and regulatory support to financial services firms. Having grown significantly over the last decade, they are looking to recruit an Associate Director to take on this senior and diverse role with the Advisory team.

The key aspects of the role are broad ranging and require a good holistic understanding of key elements of the FCA Handbook, regulated Business systems and control as well as approaches to Governance, Culture and Conduct. 

The ideal candidate will have a specific sector and / or product expertise and this might be in Wealth Management, Insurance, Lending or Consumer Credit.

Key Accountabilities;

Proactive initiation and development of client relationships

Leading the delivery of client projects/engagements

Managing necessary internal work streams including interaction with colleagues in finance and business development

Providing support and mentoring to colleagues

Maintaining awareness of current and future regulatory requirements and expectations

Reviewing and validating regulatory guidance and advice developed by other team members for clients

Drafting and reviewing deliverables including business proposals, Project Initiation Documents, engagement (MI) updates and final reports

Providing subject matter expertise and thought leadership in selected sectors/markets to help develop Advisory strategies and business relationships

Key Requirements;

Significant experience within the regulated financial services industry, Ideally someone from the FCA or a consultancy firm

May suit a senior manager within a big 4 firm or similar wishing to make their next step.

Strong understanding of FCA rules and regulatory requirements

The role will be home based but with an expectation to undertake some travel as part of the role with client engagements being National
