​We currently have available a fantastic opportunity within one of our financial clients for an Accounts Assistant to join their existing team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00am to 17:00pm

Job Purpose:

To learn and understand the role of the Finance department, process daily receipts in Rana & Sage and assist in preparation of financial information.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Process daily receipts in Rana & Sage (approx. 150 per day, with volumes increasing month on month).

2. Reconcile RBS bank account on a weekly basis.

3. Process supplier invoices on Sage & prepare monthly payment runs.

4. Prepare weekly & monthly rebate statements & prepare weekly & monthly rebate payment runs.

5. Support team members as fluctuations in business needs require.

6. Maintain up to date knowledge of the Company’s products and continuously seek to develop your skills and knowledge, taking part in training provided by the Company. All tasks must be completed adhering to the company values.

7. To pay due care and attention to your own and others’ health and safety at all times.

8. Daily contact and liaison with team leader and colleagues in own and other teams.

This list is not exhaustive and it is expected that you will carry out other duties and tasks as reasonably requested by your manager.

Experience:

1. Good keyboard skills and intermediate level IT skills.

2. Experience of managing time

3. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

4. Knowledge of Sage 50.

Qualifications:

2. Studying towards AAT qualification
