James joined Hertfordshire Police in 2004 aged 20, as a Police Officer. He spent the vast majority of his nine years’ service investigating serious and organised crime in Hertfordshire and North London and gained valuable experience in a multitude of areas including drugs enforcement, proceeds of crime, financial crime investigation and anti-money laundering. His career highlights include; policing the G20 summit, the 2012 London Olympics, the London riots and being responsible for the arrest, trial and conviction of a murderer at the Old Bailey. In 2013 James made a career change to come and work in the recruitment industry. Initially recruiting part qualified accountants into the FMCG market, James now recruits professionals from within AML, Financial Crime and Compliance. He works with an enviable list of clients and has built up a solid reputation within the industry for providing quality recruitment solutions for both clients and candidates alike.

James works with Banking and Financial Services firms, including; Retail Banks, Consumer Credit business’s, Insurance, Life & Pensions, Money Transfer, Cards, Payments, Consulting, Regulators and IFAs

His focus is on sourcing professionals in Compliance, Financial Crime, Anti-Money Laundering and Conduct Risk.
