Our client is a well know Financial Services business who are seeking an experienced Compliacnce & Controls Assurance Manager to join their team. As a Controls Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for managing a specialist team to deliver controls and outcome assurance over COO 3rd Party Suppliers. You will ensure that suppliers provide complete and accurate qualitative services to COO, generating the right outcomes for customers and meeting policy requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of the specialist First Line Controls Assurance Team conducting assurance oversight on important and critical third party suppliers to COO.

  • Provide specialist assurance over Debt Purchasers and Debt Collection Agencies, and Material Outsourcers providing operational services including Financial Crime, Fraud, FOS, Complaints Admin and Exceptions against policy.

  • Provide accurate management information to support the effective management of third-party outsourcing partners.

  • Develop a highly productive and motivated team of Control Assurance Leads to achieve high levels of quality output, through coaching and training.

  • Contribute suggestions to strategy from information identified through control assurance testing.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable track record in an Assurance or Compliance Monitoring (thematic review) role within an FCA regulated business.

  • Proven experience in a people management position.

  • Excellent knowledge of Financial services across areas such as Credit Cards, Loans and Motor Finance products etc

  • Expertise in using data and manual review to measure conduct risk within an operational context.
